Statement of Faith

  1. We believe that God is the creator of the whole universe and is also the Heavenly Father of all believers.

  2. We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life. He was crucified and died as a penalty for our sins. Then He was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. Later, He ascended to the Father's right hand where He is head of the church and intercedes for believers. He shall be coming again personally and bodily. All believers shall be caught up together into His eternal kingdom.

  3. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person, is God Himself and possesses all the divine attributes. He indwells all believers, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, and fills them in response to confession of sin.

  4. We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that these Three are One God.

  5. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired and through the original manuscripts as preserved by God in its verbal and plenary inspiration. The Bible, in itself, is a divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life.

  6. We believe that a true believer is eternally secure in the blood of Jesus, who died for our sin, and as a result, he cannot lose his salvation. But that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God. That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

  7. We believe that because of mankind's depravity, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That he must repent and believe in Jesus, otherwise he will one day be doomed for eternal punishment in hell.

  8. We believe that it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and obedience to God's Word.

  9. We believe that God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It comprises persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God's unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church, and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel for sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
